Meanwhile lots of pictures of Muhammad Youssuf Abdulazeez, sweet boy of a middle class immigrant family but not a single picture of any of those four dead Marines. Lots of stories about Muhammad's academic and athletic success and work history, not a single story about these four Marines.

It's been over 24 hours, I can't believe the Marines next of kin have not been notified. I'm tired of seeing this smug POS, let's see some heroes.

And you simply do not understand journalism. Before anyone can post pictures and details of the victim they first have to be identified and then they have to contact the family and ask for permission. Plus the police will not release information on the victims until they have contacted the families. That is why it always takes longer for information of the victims to come out.

However, we seem to be having a mass shooting in this country every few days. Is your solution more guns? Gun education? Kevlar for all? More police? Armed guards on every corner? Teachers with pistols in their drawers? Or is there another path?

Around here, seems like all you boys want is more shooters in the hands of more potential killers. makes perfect fucking sense. it'll keep the thugs, terrorists and homos away!

This wasn't a mass shooter, it was a terrorist attack. But the reality is that statistics show that Mass shootings are not anymore common than 40 years ago, rather the ability to get the information out there due to the 24hour news cycle makes them seem more common.

That being said more guns are probably not the answer in most cases, but in this case, your talking about trained and professional soldiers. At the rate soldiers and police are being targeted, you would think that the government would upgrade their ability to protect themselves.
