I however did find the following part of your original post interesting:
I do not gift or try to become overly social with providers. This is not because I'm cheap or a bastard, I have total respect for providers. Its a conscious choice I make to create clear separation. This world to me is a business transaction, Im paying for a service, I expect good service and pay more than enough for said service.
Gifts and becoming to social opens the door in my mind for providers to take advantage. I get that I may loose out on extras, I may not create a deeper connection with a provider and getting free time goes out the window, but I'm fine with that. Im happy if the lady is polite, welcoming, looks & performs service as advertised and I'm given the time I paid for.
Lucky for me plenty of providers offer the above and I leave happy!

I totally respect that. Boundaries are great! For some reason I look at "the hobby" as a service orientated business. Almost like a waiter or waitress. I tip 15% if the service is poor but they don't pill anything on me. 20% if its obvious they are making sure "I" / "WE" are enjoying ourselves. and 30-40% if they take things to a new level like have my car out front waiting for me. Making sure I always have a drink in front of me and when I need something all I need do is look up and they come a running. Going to the same places helps develop these relationships and makes for a much more enjoyable dinning experience. At least that's how it works for me. I guess I carry that over to the hobby as well.

I'm thinking....several guys give gifts, candy chocolate, flowers (Bad idea flowers) and I have been doing the "gifts" thing even before I did the T-Shirt thing. I brought a gift(s) even before I did the T-Shirt thang. But I just brought the stuff in a plastic bag as if I just bought the items at the store. I decided to move and when I did I found hundreds of very large gift bags in my closet I did not know were there. (Ex-wife) So I decided to start using those. Once I used up what worked because of the size I needed, I started just buying them from Wally World. $2.75 each in Pink or Hot pick. These days I put my camera and LIL SL right in with the gifts. So to answer your question I guess I just realized bring gifts in a plastic bag was cheezey.
FYI: The first two years I didn't do -Shirts it was just gifts. The T-Shirt thing got started when I decided to "TOUR" then it just got popular with the ladies so I kept it going. It was ALWAYS wine which most of the time "we" enjoyed as part of the session along with other secret gifts. I always do HOURS very seldom half unless something went wrong. This is my 6th year of hobbying. (Full Time! LOL)

I see nothing wrong with negotiating a better price as long as its a win win for both of us. I usually do this with providers who want to charge an extra 50-100 just to do an outcall. It's just greedy to be charging someone that much to do an outcall.

I feel like I'm talking to the woman writing Penthouse Forums.
So, what wine have you found that 18 year olds like the most? I always score with the younger ones by bringing a 44 ounce cherry limeade from Sonic & some cheese tots.....

LMAO! There is a memory......
The Bandera Road Drive in the summer of 1974
I was not quite 17. My GF was not quite 18 and was trashed after consuming a couple of bottle of Ripple....... Sitting next to me in the front seat of her LeSabre playing with her Graduation Tassle hanging from a rear view with her miniskirt hiked to her waist and a boob outside her blouse.....
That was the night I decided I never wanted anything to do with a drunk woman.....
