As a hobbyist, part of the anticipation of the encounter is buying a gift to bring. But, sometimes it just doesn’t work out logistically. A pre paid gas card is alway easy to buy and carry around until the appointment.
On an overnight, out of town, one date ended with me bringing her to range where I gave her a few lessons with a couple of my handguns and one of my evil black rifles. It makes for wonderful memories.


The thoughfulness of Nicolet, not only giving me the gift, but cooking me lunch, provides something that brings a smile to my face today.



To answer your question, Lovely Siberia, I think that if you develop a relationship comfortable enough, birthdays, etc. are acceptable. It’ up to those involved and their comfort zones.


I still get gifts from a couple of you in the form of photos in my email. They include a few words, “Hey lover, I miss that bald head.” or “Thinking of you.” Now THAT is a great gift. To know that you singled me out and thought of me enough to send a photo and a sweet word. I’m sure some are comfortable with that and some aren’t.

I'm new to the hobby so I haven't seen many providers to give them gifts. I did make sure to get wine for my most recent encounter. Her profile just said that she liked red wine so I emailed to ask which type she specifically liked. I also had her favorite non-alcoholic drink which she seemed to appreciate even more.

I've brought bottle of a favorite beverage - or a toy or such (in the original packaging! cmon guys!!) for us to enjoy.

I'd never expect a gift from a lady. Snacks or beverages are nice hosting (for hour or more sessions). Not necessary, but nice.

I'd never accept $$ or a monetary gift. I want the relationship to be mutually beneficial. Their main benefits are a nice guy and cash. Mine are a nice lady and NSA sex I can't get elsewhere. I have had a woman listen to me close enough to wear exactly the type of lingerie I preferred and the color too. Not a gift but it plays into feeding the desire to be liked, remembered, and an emotional connection. The better providers have figured that out. A gift says just that - "I remembered you, I heard you, and I wanted to let you know." Good marketing! It worked on me, lol.
