For anyone reading this thread before they purchase their tracfone I encourage them to strongly consider spending another ten dollars and getting the model with the full keyboard. Many of these gals like to text and it's cumbersome to use the other style which is on the cheaper phones.

True but texting ain't that bad when using all the abbreviation text lingo.
Plus the battery life is pretty long on the cheap phone. Can go 2-3 months before it needs another recharge.....depending on usage....ijs

I still havent found a public phone, tried Super Markets, Malls, etc. They just arent around anymore. Hate to have to go to the Airport ,parking ,and 30 min drive sucks.
