I search many different ways on the Internet and here. One of my talents. Then I also see how the screening takes place by the provider and how the communications proceed. If it all seems reasonable, them I cinfirm. I also check out the location before going in. It's an art, not a science.

I have not seen any goth taint, yet. So post some goth taint photos for us. Taint does not know nationalities, but your taint is the key to understanding.

To the OP:

Providers require so much screening....I find it interesting that so few of them are willing to be subjected to the same scrutiny.

I'm new to the hobby, and my exacting standards may mean that I never actually dip into the hobby...but I require first meetings to be in a public place. A lunch or dinner date for a mutual screening.

It's not just that I don't want a stranger in my house/car/other - it's that I need to feel comfortable (and likewise) with whomever I'm out with. I don't need to pay for physical gratification - I don't need a provider for that.

I'm surprised that more guys/johns/other don't require initial meetings in public. At a minimum, a girl gets a free meal and drinks. If she sells herself well, she gets a regular client.

I used to be on P411, but am no longer, for several reasons. Providers should always have multiple options for screening AND for advertising. I would have lost out on some fabulous experiences, then, as well as grand opportunities to travel.

A lovely thing about having been around this long is that I have a well-documented presence online with many reviews and comments on several sites, plus a long-standing webpage. Barring the legalization of prostitution, it is always going to be impossible for providers to be screened with the "same scrutiny" as gentlemen, as there will always be more critical issues of safety that require such ladies to fiercely protect their identities. Alas, the risks and repercussions, physically and judicially, are statistically far worse for providers than for clients.

However, gentlemen should do the research, indeed, to protect themselves. Just Googling a phone number will tell you a lot. I've had the same one since I started entertaining. Reading a lady's posts may also give you quite a bit more insight into her personality than just reviews. Peruse the alerts, too, scrupulously.

While I understand TravelingGentleman's "screening" process (not a bad idea at all under his circumstances, and a good method of testing compatibility and chemistry), I'm not sure how well it will work with experienced escorts of exemplary reputation, who may find it a wee bit off-putting to have to "audition" for a fellow, especially if only a one-hour appointment is involved. I wouldn't think a "free meal and drinks" would be enough incentive for well-established ladies. Also, I must point out again that professional companions market their TIME. What occurs during the time requested is a matter of choice and mutual consent, and there should be an expectation of compensation.

That said, a "meet & greet" is one of my alternative screening options, but for lunch or Happy Hour at my discretion and with additional personal info submitted. I offer dinner dates, so it would be counter-productive to tie up my evenings.

Most ladies of substance, have been here awhile building their solid reputations. I can understand their reluctance to do a meet and greet without being compensated financially for their time. The hour to get ready, travel time etc is a lot to ask of someone making $$$'s per hour. Especially to meet someone new and unproven. There is a newbie friendly list in the ISO section. Alternate screening for some may actually agree to dinner and drinks.

When I was new, before becoming a member, I would meet the girls for OTC dinners. But after being here awhile you become familiar with some of the reviewers and can trust their judgment before booking an appointment. It all comes down to what you are comfortable with.
It really wasn't necessary to bump last years thread to enlighten us on your screening methods. But welcome to the asylum. BTW, you're always welcome to start your own thread.
