If "shit got real" every time someone does something offensive, well that would be exuding the very essence of the word in question; which is not even the way Darcy was using it.

You might want to go back and read my posts here. I feel I made some fair arguments which were obviously overlooked by you. You seem like a person who is going around looking for something to be offended by.
Glad I could be of help. *eye roll*

Call me what you like honey.
As you can see I'm not the type to get offended by name calling. Good day.

P.S.
What made you want to choose the name with the prefix Fitz. That should be the big question here. LOL!

Geez!

Anything else about the way I do things and think which you need an explanation for?

Oh well, I guess that is where you are confused. I don't have an inner bitch, I just am a bitch to overly sensitive people who can't have a conversation about race.

I didn't say u have an inner bitch. I referenced my own inner bitch which we ALL know I have.

Let me explain further.

My confusion (yes your right im confused. +5 hoogar xp Darcy) is why would you ask a large group of people if they find a term offensive if you dont want to hear any opinions other than your own?

Nikki, I felt that was what you implied. Anyway, I do not have a problem hearing other people's opinions. I am free to express my own opinions to them as well. The whole thread was derailed. The point was about the word and now it is about race. Someone else stated that they saw some people who were not black calling each other "ma ni**a" and they thought it was wrong because they were not black. Well, why? If they feel like they relate to those people who spew that kind of talk all of the time then what is the problem? Let the other races use it too if they want to. Now, I doubt you even saw the post that ignited all this drama when it was removed and I was like, ummm what did I do? It really was not a big deal. It was an old lady with a gun, acting gangsta, going for micheal jackson's popcorn and she was supposedly talking gangsta or hood or whatever people call it now. It was funny to me and Im sure other people would have thought it was funny too had it been posted long enough. And if it offended, well, people get offended here on a daily basis and at least mine was not intended to offend. It was intended for laughs.

One last thing.

There is a difference between hearing something offensive, and being offended.

There is great power in someone voicing something that most might find offensive.

I find it an advantage to know what terrible things people are saying (hence free speech).
I would rather know than be in the dark.
It gives me a vantage point as to how someone operates. I will know exactly what they think.
Saying I am offended negates that advantage. It makes me a victim of the comment.

If you don't get this point then,
you are insert offensive word here .

No I wasn't implying that. Like you mentioned I have no problem getting cunty to prove a point if I wanted to call u a bitch I flat out would. I actually saw what you posted. Maybe upon further self thought, Im more embarrassed that you said it than offended. I can't imagine myself using the word and not looking like a reject extra from mailbus most wanted. You don't seem too urban yourself and it just seemed ignorant IMO. The majority of clients don't want to hear that. All my post was meant to accomplish was giving you what u wanted : an honest answer about my feelings like you asked for. Feel free to include " no pretzel hoes allowed " in your next post if you don't want me to respond.

I didn't and still don't have an issue with u personally. You don't have to agree with what everyone says to like them right?

All the little sarcastic face palms and bouncing laughing emoticons in your post made it clear u weren't actually looking for constructive criticism. Like" omg hahaha this bitch answered me honestly what an idiot!?" Aaand that's why I called u cunty. Its cunty to say "hey does this offend anyone? Yeah? Well fuck u just don't be sensitive"

Well, like I said. I don't care what clients do or do not want to hear. And yeah, I used the emoticons because I think it's funny that people got so worked up over it and that the photo got removed. Anyway, you can call me whatever you want too I know who I am and who I am not and I am not bothered by it at all. I'm totally ok with the person I see in the mirror. I don't need other people's approval.

Default I'm Too tired to debating Socio-linguistics, but heres my 2 cents

.
The way you spell out the n word speaks volumes about the power and offensiveness of the word. It's not the word itself,it's the connotation.Society will never stop using offensive words by race, nationality ,religion, ect ect. This isn't Canada where their "thought law" makes it illegal to "offend" or "cause harm to another's feelings". We can't force people to be nice and polite. Being nice or not is each a persons choice
Because MERICA!

There wasn't anything offensive about Darcy's picture. My handle is more offensive than what the picture read,
It's ignorance that offends. On one hand That word in question now a day has been reclaimed and desensitized, a term of endearment,a homeboy.
Then you turn on the tv and see shit like SC flying the confederate flag at their state house. The confederate flag at one time meant freedom, now whether we want to admit it or not represents opposite.
Smh that should gives us all something to think about,
