Social networks has worked for me, facebook, mocospace, plenty of fish, even craiglist lol. Ive tried some of the "adult" dating sites but that stuff is full of bots. Didn't pay for the ones I've met(well the room only) thing is some women get attached even though they were ok with FWB at the beginning then it becomes messy that's when i retreat and cut them off.

FWB situations aren't impossible, but they require a reasonable investment of time and energy. I've been fortunate enough to have several over the years, and in every case they grew from spending time with a woman who knew I wasn't looking for a relationship with her, but with whom playful, sexy banter developed. In no case was this a fast thing; I'd known each woman at least for months, if not for years. I still maintain three FWB relationships, but real life prevents me from meeting with any of them more than once every couple of months. Schedules are a bitch, and the issue of an untrackable location (my FWBs are not single) is also a challenge.

Don't waste your time on adult dating sites. There are a few actual women on them, but they're few and far between. You're much better off to join some other sort of social group that is frequented by women. Nothing compares to real-life meetings to see whether there's any chemistry.

The hobby is a perfect complement to these FWB arrangements. It's quick, convenient, and doesn't require the time investment up front. And the variety can't be beat.
