I have not had the pleasure of meeting you, kind sir, but I am saddened to see anyone feel this way about ECCIE and/or the Hobby. I never thought of this as an "abyss" or something that wouldn't leave me with fond memories, but evidently you have some bad experiences, anxiety, guilt, or regrets associated with it. I am sorry for whatever has brought you to this decision.

PM a mod directly and he will take care of sending your account into Never Never Land. I, and no doubt many others, wish you the best.
