No, it is called "auto-repost". I set my ad to auto-repost last week. Either today or tomorrow will be the last day it runs. It ran all weekend too while I was in the hospital. Sadly, when I set up my ad last Monday, my crystal ball failed to warn me that I would be carted off to the ER in an ambulance later in the week, and that auto reposting my ad would be a waste of money. Oh well. My loss.

Funny story. About two years ago I had to take some time off for what was supposed to be minor surgery, that turned into some really bad complications. I was unavailable for over a month because of it. When I had finally recovered enough to take my first appointment, I set a date with a gentleman I had never seen before.

Not to put too fine a point on it, I was randier than a buck on Viagra. He showed up, and without the usual pleasantries and getting to know you delay, I just about started ripping his clothes off while I shed my clothes faster than a woman on fire.

He got this bewildered look on his face and said "But I only brought enough for a quickie" (meaning BBBJ only). I looked at him and said "I don't CARE! You've got a dick and I want it!!!!!" He looked like it was Christmas morning. Oh man, that was one wild appointment.

Since then he's become a regular and we talk pretty frequently on the phone. Just the other day we were talking about that appointment and laughing about it.

I love the fact that I have probably the only job on the planet where I actually don't want to take a vacation

Auto-repost....I wasnt aware of that feature, and I'll bet most guys aren't aware either. That could explain why sometimes ladies have an ad that was just posted and when we contact them, they are not available or have already left town....

Is that crystal ball still under warranty? If so I would see about getting it fixed. Nothing like having a crystal ball that doesn't work properly.

I actually wrote a post a long time ago about the changes to the auto post feature, because I knew it would cause confusion for guys exactly the way you described.

BP has always had auto repost, but in the past, any post that was on automatic would repost at midnight. Well, like most women, I didn't want my ad popping up at midnight so that guys would be thinking that I was available and calling me at 2 am, plus by morning when I did want my ad to be seen, it would already be halfway down the page.

Its been maybe about a year now or longer that BP finally changed the auto post feature to allow women to select what time their post pops back up. So I can set my ad to run for anywhere from 4 days, all the way up to 30 days and post at whatever time I want rather than midnight.

But yes it can cause confusion, because as you say, you see an ad pop up, so you assume the lady must be available right then, but she had already booked an appointment before her ad auto posted. Or as in the case here - lol I'm in the hospital on some really good meds, and meanwhile I'm getting texts, calls, and emails from guys thinking I'm available. Dammit.

Take all the time you need, maybe a month - or two. By then you will want to make money fast, we look forward to your discounts.

Update of my update:

The long awaited date of my surgery has arrived. Yay. I don't know why the surgeon wanted to wait a full six weeks before scheduling surgery to remove my gall bladder, but he is the surgeon and I am just the patient.

At any rate. Surgery tomorrow finally. I will again be unavailable for at least a week or two while I recover. As always, feel free to PM me for references, and I will be around on the boards going stir crazy for the near future. Can't wait until this is all over. Six weeks of extremely bland food is enough. I want pizza dammit!
