I don't often participate in these discussions, mainly because doing so renders me vulnerable to having my sensitivities offended, but I feel like I have a few points (some more unique than others) to contribute in light of some commentary about my increased rates.

When I schlepped onto the Eccie scene in October 2010, not only was I crazy to sell my artwork for $100 per piece, but my artwork was of a different caliber. By February 2011, I became involved in a relationship, which is why I took a long hiatus. While away from the hobby, I underwent a number of personal improvements, so upon my return, I am pleased to offer an improved product for a price with which I am comfortable. Here is why my clients today have a different experience than they would have had with me several years ago:

1. I am 5'1. I weigh 50 pounds less than I did in 2010 due to diet and exercise. This has significantly changed my appearance and general health.

2. My incall in 2010 was a dilapidated efficiency apartment furnished with an air mattress (until I upgraded to a "firm" twin mattress set atop an Ikea chair bed). Today, my incall is a 4-star hotel in either the downtown or Galleria area.

3. During my hiatus, I decided to pursue higher education. I really think this should be the number one reason the art critiqued in my reviews on Eccie is worth it's higher rate, but then again, quality is contingent upon personal preference. This leads me to my fourth (and final) point...

4. Quality is contingent upon personal preference.

In short, I am not contending whether or not I am "better" than another provider with a lesser rate. I am instead saying that I am better than I was four years ago, and so is my vagina - by virtue of association. I suppose not everyone will therefore pay for me, but I think everyone can at least get on board with saying "yay" for me.

I personally charge way lower than I should but it is what I am comfortable with.....But that does not make me any better or worse than a hdh.....we ladies charge what we want to,its your perogitive to pay what you want......I think it all depends on the guy/if he has the "pocket money" to splurge and feels it is worth it,then go for it!
