I hate the TV as well. Pandora is great, especially when the provider asks in advance what I like. Two of my best gfe sessions were when I asked for a certain type of music. I got Al Green once. Talk about an impression. She was savvy enough to consider my age and what I might like.

One of my worst sessions was with a BP girl who I requested to turn her gangsta rap off the radio and gangsta movie off the TV and please put out her cigarette.

I showed up last night for my date and the tv was on.
I asked the guy if he spoke Spanish as I don't judge, but if I was going to put money on it.. I would have put it on no, and a lot..
He replies, "no?" Half confused?
I reply, "why are you watching telemundo??!"

Lol. It ruled. He left it on. We didn't really pay any attention to it after that comment.

I prefer music. With a past ATF she played classical. Beethoven's Ninth still gives me wood!

I find the TV distracting, but good music, blues, Evanescence, and other girl fronted metal / grunge works for me mostly because that's what I'm really into now. No country tunes please! LOL

I believe tv is a big distraction too. I always have slow jams playlist to set the mood together with scented candles.
The bedroom has to feel sensual and inviting.

I didn't think Discovery Channel with Cheetahs going at it would add to the ambiance!

Had to have something to drown out all the screams of ecstasy. I would have gone with a more cultural answer, but someone had enough cultural experience last night.
