I agree with the street corner business model. There's no way I will see an unknown/un-screened person last minute.

I don't prefer weeks in advance pre-booking because even my schedule can be precarious due to other obligations. A day to a few days advance notice seems ideal. Most of my clients seem to give proper notice and I have a few people who want those same day/last minute appointment or late night.

In my case it's hard to pre book. I never know when I'm gonna be available between job and so. It's hard to even schedule a haircut let alone an hour of private time.

Regardless of marital status, a hobbyist may sometimes be put in a position to work obligatory or mandatory OT.

Traveling around and hoping for the best doesn't work for me ... i'll cancel or reschedule until it's right (enough pre-books meaning minimum expenses covered) before traveling on a whim and it ends up being a big miss. Especially if I'm based (D.C. area) way more than 4-6hrs from that place i'm touring to.
While I might start advertising several weeks ahead (for the guys who complain some touring ladies especially don't give enough notice of when they'll be in town) I don't expect to get booked up right away ... at least 1 week or more ahead would be ideal tho.

I COMPLETELY understand the need to have enough appointments to cover your minimum expenses before you make the travel plans. I even support a travelling lady's need to do this and her need to cancel if she doesn't get enough pre-bookings so she doesn't lose money.

But please understand MY side of it also. If a lady advertises that she's going to travel to my city, and asks for pre-booking, I'm happy to pre-book, weeks in advance. But after staying in communication for a week with the lady setting up our play time, if she then cancels because not enough guys pre-booked... the NEXT time she advertises, I won't pre-book. I'll simply wait until she actually arrives then see if an appointment is available. I just won't get burned the same way twice. Now, if you advertise that you are still "planning" and haven't decided yet, I may not be as annoyed if you cancel.

Pre booking...best way to go for me. I'm not really a get up and get ready for last minute calls all day long Kinda lady. I got other stuff to do too, just like the gents. 2 hour advance is the least for gents that have already been screened. I understand being spontaneous and let's see if she's available, but I will probably not be the woman ya wanna call, unless for some reason I get a cancel and all is ready to go. Hours of availability, doesn't mean all of us are hanging by the phone masturbating and waiting, or some silly notion like that....LOL It means, give me a shout with plenty of notice, so I can get ya screened and take care of all the details that are gonna make it something at least a little nicer than stopping by McDonald's cause ya don't have time for a sit down meal.

So, if drive thru is your thing...lotsa folks can go there and get less than quality food in a hurry and be on their way. Nothing wrong with that. Me? I kinda like the experience of excellent service with a smile and of sharing with another, as opposed to waiting on cars driving up to the window.

If anyone here says they can get quality in a hurry and for a lot less, then yeah, ya never had quality. Hate your bad luck and pull up to the next window please. It is what it is.

+1 - Lots of flakes on the pre-booking. They come to town and plans change, they don't respond and I'm forced to implement the backup plan. It's often easier to see if I feel like it and watch for who is available most of the time. Not very professional or business-like on provider's part, but it's the way it is.

+1 - Yes, lots are "confused" until I knock, enter and drop trou. Some even stay confused then. Those I don't repeat with.

Hmmm ... Roof over my head vs a strangers nut, I'll go for affording my house note instead of chancing it in a strange city. We definitely understand, but livelihoods trump annoyances and a man you've never met fucking you.
