Over the years, many providers call themselves the Girl next door. Quite frankly, I have not seen many that I would want living next door to me.
My idea is a clean, attractive lady, not exactly a knockout, but attractive, sexy and down to earth. One any guy would be proud to bring home to mom. Sorry BP ladies!! Just kidding.
What do you think are the criteria for the Girl next Door?

My thoughts are a girl is who laid back, friendly, pretty and can laugh at herself. Someone who is full of smiles and is truly a genuine person. Doesn't have to try to get attention, just is herself and not trying to be something she isn't.

That she is actually a girl who is living next door to you lol. Otherwise she is just some girl you want to be friends with, date, fuck or all three lol.

I think they just use it for Advertising and Marketing purposes. It never bothers me unless they have blue hair and 97 tattoos. Then I think they may be stretching the term "Girl Next Door" a bit lol.

My definition would be similar to yours:
-* Wears little makeup
-* Dresses in regular street clothes who isn't a fashion plate
-* Cute but not hot,definitely not a girl who is dripping with sex lol
-* Not an extreme personality type, just a nice girl who is Everyone's Friend

personality/looks are secondary, a common reason to "fall for the girl next door" is because you see them so much and are not repulsed by what you see, so she grows on you, etc

The girl that lives next door to me does have blue, green, red, purple (or whatever the color of the week is) hair and quite a few tattoos. So I guess for me that discription would hold true.

As far as my definition, I would have to say that it is the girl on your block that you had a crush on growing up. The girl you hung out with all the time and was a great friend, but you secretly wished you could fuck, but you never seemed to have the balls to go for it. Mine was hot, but didn't wear makeup and look like a total slut. We we are still friends and although we did do the fuck buddy thing a few times during college, we decided, (she decided) that we are better off friends.

As long as it includes a few blocks away, a simple "Next Door" works for me.
Add: Sass, humor, down to earth, real, cute, comfortable, playful, nice in jeans/sweater, a neck breaker when she dresses up, and now UTR, it works very well.

For me it's that girl that everyone knows and likes, is comfortable wearing jeans and a t-shirt, hanging with the guys, can chat about anything and has an air of sweetness and innocence about her. But at night loves to dress up in sexy lingerie, give you a very suggestive smile and has a hunger to do the naughtiest things to you.

I don't think it's purely looks, more a personality thing. A woman of "average" physical beauty doesn't necessarily make her a girl next door. A very attractive model type can still be a girl next door in my opinion. I think it's all about personality and attitude.
