The provider seemed open to the possibility, suggested it herself, but I don't ALWAYS believe what people tell me...seemed like the RIGHT thing to do...that's just me!

She didn't terminate the contract; HE did. It is his responsibility to contact her if he wanted to renegotiate the terms. That said, personally, I'd have tried contacting him after left in hopes of warding off this. He behaved childishly and left without discussing his new needs. It is his obligation to revisit the terms.

I would have to agree. If it was me I would have at least said hey look this isn't working for me. He acted as if this was his SO when in fact he just met her. Personally I think there was recklessness on both sides. As a hobbyist why would you book an ON with someone you've never seen and as a provider why would you accept. Of course I know the answer but the point is it's pretty irresponsible.

Do you really expect a mod or anybody else for that matter to dig through 15+ pages in 2 threads to try to determine that you misspoke? You clearly stated that what you posted was from ROS, not page 4 post 7. You self reported.

For me misspeaking is not the issue per se, rather a mod knowing from a broader perspective the contents of a "HOT" thread that he himself has participated in. Even if I misspoke it's pretty clear that what I posted was for public consumption. If MOD strategy is to accept at face value and not verify then I concede the point. ;-)
