Once a year I save up my pennies and go to the dollar store to buy my one condom for the year, only to find out they charge tax too.

Can't say I ever bought condoms or home pregnancy tests there, but yea I love the different dollar stores(actually a dollar not just say dollar). They have some really unusual stuff there.

Just recently at a .99 cent store.
My favorite soup. progresso tomato and basil
a kleenex dispenser for my van visor and refills

I know I'm odd

There are some things I would rather spend a little bit more money on and this happens to be one of them.

And the only thing I would be worried about is what is the expiration date is on the ones from the dollar store just my... IJS

I love dollar store for many things but yes mr a10bombdiggity that is one place u better check the expiration date. I also avoid any food or cosmetics that originated from certain countries.

But its my secret first stop shopping. I make my grocery etc list and hit the dollar store first save a crap load because they will randomly have certain things. U wouldn't believe some high end foods and cosmetics u can in there sometimes.

I haven't tried the stores out here but in cali 99¢ only store actually has a produce section and their selection is sometimes alot more fresh and appealing than what I see at raleys or whole foods.

Hi Nikki, yea some of our .99 cent stores have produce. I always check dates, Got 18 large eggs for 1.99 which wasn't bad. I like looking for unusual cooking and baking things. Like what was said, they buy over stocks and things that didn't go over, not all the stuff is cheaply made. Just not popular.

As for the topic, Gotta love perceptions.
Provider talks about cheap condoms watch out,
but guy drives mercedes he must rich, clean, good hobbyist

that's a laugh. people are people. same provider who shops at Nord****m's in the morning could be washing and re-using the same condom(that's sounds really disgusting) that night. That's not a good way to make a point, but descriptive. The guy in the mercedes could be lease, rental or so far in debt, using drugs, diseases, doesn't pay providers.

I've seen people get out of a mercedes wearing expensive clothes walk into .99 cent stores and clerks recognize them because they come all the time.

I prefer to use my own, so I know I'm safe, but if it came down to it, I wouldnt care as long as they are safe

One question, when you show up and she has none on hand, does the clock keep going while you run to the store? BWAHAHAHAHA

ditto! A good provider will supply all necessary tools to "get the job done"!

As for Dollar Store...I buy my mouthwash/shampoo/razors and even candy there.....but would NEVER buy condoms there...There is no telling how long they have been sitting in that stockroom. always check the date!

{at the Walgreens by my house,the cashier told me that condoms are the number two top shoplifted items...number one being razors.}

I personally would not use a condom from a dollar store. I'm a bit of a condom snob if you will and I tend to lean toward the ones with the shiny gold wrappers. So if your coming by my place or I'm coming by yours that's what I'm packing. LOL

But I did have a Dr. tell me once that the pregnancy and ovulation tests are the same as the 20 to 40 dollar ones at any other store. So I would have to guess the condoms are probably the same.
