it all boils down to how lazy you are.. I am a good looking guy I have dated and slept with Hotties and I also have slummed it a few times too.

I started the Hobby because I knew I was never going to get married or be in a long term relationship. so I did women a favor and chose not to lead them on only for sex or prey on drunk women in bars...

It is not about what yall charge its about what I am willing to trade for. $$$ or a few hours charming the pants off of women.. now some guys they are painfully shy and no social skills.. so I assume that is why they are here...and of course the Married guys cheating really do not have many options to cheat so a Provider is quick and easy...

Spot on. I hate leading people on or playing the emotion game its not worth it so thats why I'm here until i decide i want to settle down.

I will however never pay more than $$$ for an hour and in all honesty $$ to $$5 is what I feel is a fair price and I have found loads of women in that range who are great fun. I have been more disappointed at $$$ as its never that much better if at all than most the girls i see at $$ and $$5 so the whole idea that you get what you pay for is different in this game in my view.

What matters is that you connect, you find them attractive, they are fun and the lady meets expectations, the higher the price the higher the expectations which have not been met for me, in most cases.

This topic started out cool, then got awkward in a general sense (as things always do when discussing money -- cost vs. value), then got awkward in a personal sense (as it turned into an us vs. them discussion).

I will admit that my rates have always been in the mid-level of any market that I've been -- $240ish for Austin and $300+ for cities where cost of living and income are higher. Because I take pride in what I offer, think I'm fairly easy on the eyes. and lack general life drama, I like to think that I'm good at what I do when I do it. So I do feel a little "ouch" when providers start to classify themselves as higher end and let the metaphors fly. I've also worked with girls in my range as well as those above my range and have thought "wow...they're awesome at what they do, too." So, I assume if I feel a little shitty when such lines are drawn that other girls do as well...so Imma going to go on the record of being against such classifications.

Here's the thing, though...rates are what they are for whatever reason. Some girls are really awesome at keeping regulars so they have higher entrance fees for the newbs because there are fewer slots for them. Some girls have higher costs (kids, houses, debt, boob jobs, whatever) so they want a higher rate at fewer clients or a low rate to rake in more clients. It's a very personal decision to put rates at any point within any market, so generalizations about $200/hr vs. $300/hr and how that relates to value don't sit well with me. Personally speaking...I'd rather do two hh appointments to every mult-hour appointment, but that's just my preference. It speaks to my own kinks and personal preferences. Two hh, one multi hour, two hh, one multihour and my week would be perfect in my eyes. At this point in time, my rate meets my costs/needs on my trips down. In the future if I'm living in Texas and doing this full time and I see that demand exceeds my ability to offer, I'll raise my rate. If demand fails to meet my needs, I'll lower my rate.

THAT being said, I've either worked with or have met the higher range girls who have commented on this thread and I both adore them and have only the utmost professional respect for them (mainly based on my clients' reports) so I'm not hating on them or personally offended in any way. I just want to point out that this is a delicate area.

But...uh...yeah. Sorry if you can't afford girls who are too expensive. Find ones who aren't. The girls who are too expensive for you are finding plenty of fish to bite, so they don't need you griping about their rates. Hobby on. =)

To add to what's in bold: ...... or wait for a "sale" aka special or just save up to afford the full price. Nothing wrong with saving if you can't afford it right away.
