Thank goodness my self esteem isn't tied into all of this. If I were weak, I would have crumbled long before now. LOL

Because it's not really my place to tell you lovely ladies how to run your business. Though, I know that there are plenty of guys on the national boards who would probably (very nicely) tell you what they look for in a quality AA provider. That way you can get some ideas and pick and choose what fits best for you individually.

I will say this...which is advice I give to ladies I know who are very upscale...I'm not sure that the Internet is necessarily the best venue. There are certain men who like to see how you will interact with them in person. And they don't necessarily frequent sites such as these. They work through word of mouth and referral. They meet ladies in person and like that feeling of not knowing if the lady is just friendly or on the clock.

In these situations, you cut down on worrying if there is a physical attraction and whether the lady can move in your social circle. Now, if a lady is the type who only does incalls as a provider and doesn't really act as a companion, then this doesn't apply.

However, if someone tells me they only get a few clients a month, I would think this sort of business would work well. Especially since these guys tend to pay very well...

But a pet peeve of mine is when someone calls and their first said is hey little momma uhh I'm not listed on online booty call.

Mynx is right, you need to put yourself out there, meaning head down to the higher end Steak Houses, High end Hotel Bars and or Sushi Bars or whatever type is higher end where you live. in Houston back in the 90's there were 2-3 upscale steak houses my buddies worked at, they all knew the 'Sugar Babies' or 'Providers' would come in on Monday-Thursday nights work the Bar area to find upscale Businessmen. do not go on the Weekends since that is usually date night.. or family night..

That way they do get to see you in person and get to know you a little in a relaxing environment

Trinity you just nailed it for me. I don't care what color the woman, if ghetto talk is part of her vocabulary or it shows in her post I'm gone. I've seen women of most races (AA, Hispanic, Caucasian and Oriental) and have enjoyed each, but if you sound like you just came from the hood, you can take your white, black, brown or yellow ass right back there as far as I'm concerned. I've had the joy of being with Genesis a couple of times back when i still could, and if guys aren't flocking to spend time with her, there can only be one reason. Class, beauty, dignity, skills, attitude, she has it all. If her dance card is full of empty spaces, SHAME on the guys who don't plug in their names just because the paper isn't white.

Genesis is a greatly missed treasure in this area.. We lost not only a great , fun, lady, but a well educated, exceptionally beautiful woman as well. We loved spending time with her, and would help organize a posse to go kidnap her...

Heck, no need to send out the posse...I can have my bags packed and ready to go by summer.
Just need to find a house that I can also double to run my bakery from (or better yet a store front, hehehe) and I'll be back before you know it!

Houston has long lost it's luster for me and I always seem drawn back to the comforts of home.

i too have seen Genesis a number of times, and all the kudos and accolades are very very well deserved. But, to bring the topic "semi" back on hand. i.e. (black women as opposed to black men). i see she is coming to town in a few weeks. As she has previously stated, many men throw compliments and blow smoke up her arse, or put her on some imaginary list. Well, heres the chance to show her the compliments are indeed serious and genuine, or to prove the point she was addressing in her 1st post in this thread.
Although ,she is a very beautiful woman. and would never be on my 2nd choice list, unfortunately i live too far away to make any promises or to say i will see her if she comes to Austin. then i too would be guilt of blowing smoke up her arse.

No NBA policy here .... I like men of all races/ethnicities/mixes etc. Even though I don't have a NBA policy only roughly 15%-20% at best of my dates are with black men lol *shrugs*. Anywho while I wish I never saw another 'Why NBA/Why no AA' thread again I know there will be *sighs*. If I were a consumer in this hobby I personally wouldn't care or worry why no one wanted to see because of being black/short/haitian/latina/bbw/democrat (lol) and focus on those who appreciated my money & company and give them plenty of it.

Everyone has their own reasons whether it be a preference, bad past experience, too big down below, whatever--- Ive heard many different reasons. The best thing to do is not let it affect you at all in any personal manner and just move on to the many many wonderful ladies that do see AA clients. As far as the topic of AAs being higher risk when it comes to STDs- I havent looked into that specifically but I assume everyone is a risk therefore everyone and everytime is covered.

Personally, I have never had any issues with any AA client. My AA friends have always been kind, intelligent, professional and good looking gentleman.
