What a totally false and sweeping idiotic statement. If that was true, why haven't all doctors and healthcare providers canceled their obscenely expensive malpractice insurance and lowered their fees?
Here's a thought - the next time a tort lawyer sues a surgeon for malpractice, let's make the case outcome contingent on the tort lawyer being able to successfully perform the surgery.
Who adds value to society - a surgeon or a tort lawyer? Which one saves lives? Which one chases ambulances? Duh!

Many if not most states have capped noneconomic damages in med mal cases. Texas capped them at 200k, easily covered by insurance policies.
Dox continue to pay high premiums because insurance companies aren't willing to reduce their rates. Since tort reform in Texas, premiums have risen for doctors.
Maybe if you did a little research you'd understand how utterly full of shit you are.
