Thoughts and Prayers Please
My youngest daughter, college age, is in the hospital. I had to bring her in, in the wee hours last night. I won't get into too much detail but...

Now that the pace has slowed and all is quiet, I'd like to thank you for the thoughts and words sent by PM and email. She's resting, actually on her computer, just like me. We are still unsure about surgery tomorrow, but she has several weeks of recovery ahead. Surgery will happen, probably twice, but her prognosis is good.
I belong to several boards. Believe it or not, this is not my only hobby. I'll just say, you people here, and people on one other board, have sent me emails, PM's and board responses of support and prayers. I just want to thank you all.
This time of year it's so easy to get lost in all of the craziness of the season and we forget to stop and acknowledge those who we hold most dear. Like Annie said, "it takes only a minute to break it down." For a person who has the gift of crisis management, when its your own child, that dark cloud of panic looms closer than you can imagine.
Now you know what I'm thankful for this Christmas.
