The vast majority of threads in this forum are some shameles display of self advertisement. .. so... smart one... break down WHY mine should be removed while every " lookie here Im a mediocre wanna be photographer" thread and every " i bought a new dildo " thread and every " look i got new boots and a hairy vajayjay" thread is allowed to remain??

Whispers question is relevant. I have seen some blatant ads in coed lately. I did not pay attention to them to see what happened to them. I know all posts by providers are potential marketing but when they are blatant ads are they deleted or moved to the ad forum? What are the guidelines that make that determination?

The thread that Jennifer is pissed about was a hello thread but it was also a blatant ad since she was letting people know when she was available and asking them to contact her. Should the thread have been moved, edited or deleted? What are the guidelines? I think that information would be helpful.

Rarely, if ever, would I consider agreeing with Whispers on *anything* (i would say I disagree with his methods, for sure, but not always the message), but I am curious as to the reasons for a wholesale removal of a thread, even pending mod or administration review? It was definitely an ad or even a 'welcome and intro' post and could have been placed or moved to welcome or 'ad' forum. I know responses are disabled in the ads forum so maybe they could have locked the moved thread or even removed the comments in it or just copied the ad part to ads forum and locked the coed one...

... But to just remove it... Disconcerting.

The fact is, ADS run here in COED on the daily. Straight up. However, mine was removed due to unfair targeting and moderation. Selective enforcement. No, I didn't plan to come back and stir up all this shit, and NO LEVI, a pm to Mokoa would NOT have solved a damn thing, he just ignores them.

I sure bet he wishes now he never TOUCHED THAT THREAD!!!

And, yes, surprisingly, Whispers gets it right once in awhile! ;-)

I too am curious why the thread was deleted. I have seen SEVERAL threADs in coed. I was under the impression....please know I have not even remotely taken the time to read ALL of the rules....that it would take an act of mod god to get a thread deleted. I believe if that thread was deleted there a few still floating around that need the same action taken. Just saying. Some even more blatant.

I dunno....I am just curious what the rules are on all this.

Right, but that doesn't mean because everyone else does it, you should too... Right? Selective enforcement is not right, however. If guidelines and guidance say threAds should be avoided but not deleted, so be it.

My only point was that if you posted the blatant ad part (availability, etc) in ads, there would not be cause to interfere in the thread. Of course, the rest of it was 'hobby related', entertaining AND thought-provoking so clearly belongs in coed!

... And is still entertaining!
