NR is a glorified version of Backpage. It's full of rip offs and b&s girls. They scrape BP and other classified listings. How do you think you have a profile without adding it yourself? It's not from reviews.

Hobbyists can create profiles of ladies they have seen. On the, profile it says it is unclaimed and the lady has the option of claiming it as her own and then personalizing it. It is a good way of helping some bp girls get credibility and track who is safe and who is not. Many REAL providers post in the forums there and have real profiles. It is useful and legitimate in many parts of the country.

Good to know that it is more useful in some other areas. It is not true that they only post your profile there if you have been reviewed. I have heard tons of ladies talk about how they stole their photos and ad info from other sites and posted it there without their consent. Not cool.

Oh then that is definitely not right of them if that's happening to some ladies. Plenty of profiles are posted with no reviews I have just never seen one that us unclaimed AND has no reviews. But we are in diff areas and it sucks that it sucks (no pun intended) in some areas. I am only speaking from MY experience since the site has been good to me, but if you have heard other ladies having bad experiences with it, then by no means am I trying to invalidate their opinions. I've heard of hit or misses with TER and other sites as well. In some areas some people even say bp is the most legit site. I can't disagree with that statement without knowing the area myself so I guess what I was just trying to say is that NR is a legitimate source in some, but not all parts of the us, etc etc. Rumors of NR cycling ladies' info is a bit of a flag for me now though, so thanks for making me aware

I am not trashing NR, just stating facts based on my personal experience. They had an unsolicited profile up on me for quite some time with older photos and wording from an ad I used to run on Backpage ONLY years ago, so that pinpointed the source. I tried to get it withdrawn, but no luck, so I just let it go. (Per their stated guidelines, I needed to join their organization to edit something I hadn't put up in the first place! I don't like being FORCED to do anything.)

In April of this year, an NR member contacted me off a new review he had read there. I didn't even know there was one up, so I went back to the site to take a look. NR had done considerable remodeling since I had last visited, was looking much more organized and modern, but my profile still listed incorrect/incomplete rates and my physical stats were wrong, so I just gave in and joined, updated my info and inserted more recent pics. (The review was nice, posted by a gentleman who holds duel membership on ECCIE and NR and put his Fanciful encounter in both places, not uncommon.)

Perhaps the site owners changed or turned into better managers based on experience, but at one point, yes, they were just lifting ads off other sites while they were getting established. Sorry, that makes it hard for me to trust them now.

More than a few issues with that sight but the forums (depending on the area) are pretty active and fun when I check them out time to time and the listings/classified are pretty busy too (Detroit area is one example).

NR has been good to me too without complaint <knock on wood>
