Hey everyone (Hobbyists and Providers),

I was just reading the recent Alert about provider who got pinched at the Crowne Plaza on 59/Kirby today.

The question that came to mind is this...has anyone ever heard or seen or know of LE posing a provider @ an incall to bust hobbyists?? I mean it would be realling f-ing hard to set up a fake provider especially with a long history of reviews and all..

This is what makes me shy away from new-er providers with little or no references on eccie or especially if they are not on P411. And I never ever see anyone from BP - I figure that's just a trap of either LE, Thugs or Pimps...and either I will end up getting pinched myself or having a shoot out with a pimp/thug for trying to rip me off...

Yes, it happens. In fact, they had a revolving door of busts doing that at the Hilton near Hobby airport not so long ago.

Of course they set up incalls and pose as providers and do busts, but I have never heard of Houston vice obtaining provider status on here or creating a 411 handle, but maybe in other cities(?) ... normally they just post on backpage.

Thanks Brooke...yet another reason I steer clear of BP...I though vice was mainly after the asian happy-ending massage places that advertise on BP...guess they chase those places down as well.

It's not so much BP as a whole...but knowing what to look for and how to identify the red flags.

Not a lot to share other than being consistent in doing all the research...and if one thing is out of place or doesn't seem right....you abort. Not just about LE but about any situation you probably don't want to be involved in...B&S, pimps, ect. There's no such thing as a guaranteed "failsafe" in all this unless you decide not to play at all but there are alot of ways to minimize the risk. As hokey as it sounds....intuition plays a big part. Trust your gut!!!

Absolutely, it happened. That's how the infamous ASPD party bust happened. Female cops were reviewed by male cops.

That may not have been the catalyst, but a scenario like that could happen right? A gentlemen reviews 5 or more bp ladies without actually seeing them, then reviews a lady who in turn gains her verification from that review, and they are both LE and now have two feet in the door. Is that just paranoia or a legitimate strategy that could already be implemented?

Sure that strategy could be implemented but here's where it wouldn't work for LE..

They go through all that trouble to get a girl verified as a provider....the LE provider sets the trap at a notel for incall..makes a series of appointments for the day/night or whatever...the hobbyists show up and they maybe get a few guys?? Well as soon as they are out..it hits the board and all the red flags go up...maybe the fake provider/LE gets another 1/2 day out of it before the guys who get pinched are out..so it wouldn't last long.

On the other hand..the same goes for a fake hobbysits/LE. That wouldn't last as long because that news would spread like wild fire...y'all know each other and he would be shut down asap..

That's me just pontificating...

That is absolutely what happened. WU may go into all the BS about the door and who was watching it etc., but there were LE that was vouched for by other LE at that time. I accidentally contacted and almost met with one that day before the party.

Question - do you remember how many reviews the LE/fake providers had? Now it just makes me wonder about seeing any 'new' providers who don't have a long history of being on here...kinda sucks because isn't that the point of hobbying? f-ing LE...you'd think they would work on other shit going on in H-town but hey that's a whole other thread..
