Best Sandwich Shops in San Antonio?
What are the best sandwich shops in San Antonio? Like mom and pop shops? I am watching Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and I admit..it has my mouth watering like crazy. I have noticed since I moved here that there aren't many mom and pop sandwich shops. Anyone know of any?

Thundercloud Subs......it might not be a true Mom and Pop store, but I like their Texas Tuna Sandwich. Its got Tuna, avocados, and jalapenos, and tastes great!

Picnic Deli on Bandera just about a mile outside the loop on the left as you are going north. It is a true Mom & Pop place, i used to know Mom & Pop, used to go there all the time, from work.
All there sandwiches are great!

Thanks for the links Sonya and Backdoor, looks interesting. Have either of you been to both locations and if so, which do you prefer?
Haven't been able to find a "real" corned beef on rye in SA, have to go to Austin, if you know of a place, please share. By real in mean NY style.

The best sandwich shop in town is definitely the Delivery Market down town. Nothing beats that eat. And I'm really critical of sandwiches.
