A gentleman wouldn't. If you are trying to prove that blowpop is a hypocrite, I think you might have presented a pretty damn good case. You understand wtf is going on here Dear John? Folks don't like being judged like they think you and bp have/are while not being lily white yourself.
So let me get this straight MM gets drunk at a social, gives a bj and then cries about not getting paid and her drunk version is the standard we go by?
There IMHO is even a bigger picture here. Who thinks it ok to out this personal social information? To put out on the open board that women are trying to do business at these socials. To out information that is third party at best. I have a problem with this third party outting. Am I the only one? Some of these cats are getting caught in the mouse trap trhey are setting. When did it become ok to do this?
I resent the insinuation (not necessarily by you, sir) that I took advantage of anyone. So I'll be perfectly clear here:
I've attended a LOT of hobby parties over the years. Fooling around happens. Some providers view it as marketing, some just enjoy cutting loose with like-minded people in a (supposedly) judgement-free environment.
At hobby parties, I've seen kissing happen. I've seen blowjobs happen. I've seen pussy eating happen. I've seen threesomes happen. I've seen fucking happen in all sorts of places. These activities aren't rare or unexpected at hobby parties.
Charging for said fooling around is specifically forbidden. The provider didn't mention setting up a paid session for later until we had wrapped up our fooling around. I enjoyed my time with her (she was very good at what she was doing) but had other plans.
The provider had been drinking, but I wouldn't characterize her as drunk. She was being flirty, but certainly not stumbling, falling down, or not in possession of her faculties.
Very good point about personal information. I've been particularly careful not to mention the identity of the provider in question, or of anyone else.
For all I know, she has no idea that Olivia is using her as some sort of pawn to further whatever agenda it is that she's furthering here. With friends like that, who needs enemies?
They are all business transactions and can be discussed as such. Just because you are invested much more so in this business does not give this business special status in the world.
Sure they're all business transactions if you look at every business transaction as a broad category.
However, every business has its own nuances and culture within it. Within certain industries, while it is certainly within your right to attempt to negotiate, doing so will just get you laughed at (say, go to a large supermarket, fast food chain, a gas station, etc. and see how often you will get results negotiating).
On top of that, in this particular business, I generally think that "negotiating" is generally going to hurt the hobbyist more in the long term than the money he may save in the short term. Consider that not every session is the same - a provider who has been talked down isn't as likely to give her full effort as opposed to a session where she's getting her full donation. Getting a reputation as someone who is a difficult client to work with isn't going to aid a hobbyist in the long run either. It makes sense for providers to tend to give better service to clients who give them less hassle and pay more, just like businesses in real life.
Also, I really just wanted to post to spam up this thread with more jbravos. Apparently there's hordes of us spawning in the dark depths of the interwebs waiting to invade ECCIE.
What's interesting about this whole train wreck is that if the provider in question truly felt slighted by me, WHY DIDN'T SHE CONTACT ME? Why am I first hearing about it several years later, from Olivia?
Here's my idea about what happened:
In the process of discussing a party they were considering throwing, Olivia and this provider talked about what had happened at previous parties. They swapped stories, and the provider recalled the time she spent fooling around with me. She mentioned that no money had changed hands.
Olivia, being all-knowing and all-wise in how to be a super-smart provider (and "all about the money" in no uncertain terms) decided unilaterally that the provider had been taken advantage of by the evil, manipulative, grifting, list-making, blowjob-enjoying bastard called Blowpop.
So this is really non of my business, but curiosity is eating me alive, so I'd love to know. Did CFE & you determine the time and rate you prior to the session, or did it morph into that amount of time/rate after you got there?
Aww shit, don't get us back into board personas. This thread will run until Christmas.
But since you did... I think the board persona deal is a bit overplayed. While I grant there are differences between persona and person, I think the persona says just as much about the person as any other factor might. So while the persona might not be representative of the whole, it's certainly representative of something.

Does anyone(other than Jemma) actually thinck that I thinck I'm a cat? ija?
I was really hoping a lady would answer my question but I guess you fucktards are close enough...
You game the system, and have for a long time. You can either admit that you game the system, and be proud that you came up with the con first, or you can continue to claim you are "Capt. Save-A-Ho". Those that have grown weary of your game will continue to throw eggs as long as you defend your system.

I heard, from my friend's uncle's second wife's little brothers barber that she asked you about it at the time and you threw her down the stairs and broke her leg. And that the next day she called you about it and you sent some of your home boys over to her apartment/motel room to beat the shit out of her and steal her cell phone. JaD told me one of them pissed on her rug. That's some fucked up shit.

CFE and I made arrangements before the session.
It was much longer than my typical session, but it was one I'd been anticipating for about a decade. And I wasn't disappointed.

The key to negotiation in business is to talk with someone who is empowered to negotiate. Entry level employees usually aren't. Salesmen who sell big-ticket items and the business owner or managing director usually are.

Agree. Negotiating in the hobby is going to start things off on the wrong foot. And when things start off on the wrong foot in the hobby, they rarely get better.
