On this Memorial Weekend we not only honored our Troops & Vets. The Retired Rabbit Sanctuary attended an event with The Wounded Warriors & Vets, along with their families. The kids loved seeing our exotics animals and there was a clear connection with a few. A couple kids have MS or Cerebral Palsy and when they saw our Special Needs Rabbit they were really intrigued. I heard one say, "If he can survive MS then so can I mommy." I was heartbroken but encouraged.
