Hotels Fighting back Dealers, Pimps and Ho's

Just north of the Vagina Triangle lies a little known strip of budget hotels aptly called Hooger Row. These hotel owners are fighting back against the drug dealers that parade their parking lots, the pimps that book their rooms and the ladies of the evening that use them.

Yesterday I met a provider at a motel between Rundberg and 183. I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I hate...I mean I fucking hate...going to almost any motel. It has nothing to do with how nice the room is, though certainly that can be important, it is purely the neighborhood and, more importantly, how exposed you can feel in the parking lot.

By the time I got out of the parking lot yesterday I was seriously thinking that I might limit myself to providers who have an incall apartment, rather than a motel. I just don't know that it is worth the risk to go to certain places.

Do any of you have motels or hotels that are strictly off limits to you?

I have never felt safe providing from a hotel. Even the 3 and 4 stars. Ever. I just can't fully relax.

I've been to a couple of places on Hooger Row; quite scary at night because one knows these places are hotbeds for activity of the bad kind.

I always stay at 3 or 4 star hotels in nicer areas and that are larger in size

^_^ I don't use hotels/motels....just putting that out there.... although there is an elementary school in my neighborhood is that bothers anyone.

The hotels don't care about prostitution. They generally don't care about other illegal activities. They usually know what's going on but want to be able to act like they don't.

What they care about is things that scare off other customers, cause them problems, or otherwise cost them money.

Heck, even the police probably don't care that much as long as you don't do anything that disturbs the "innocent" civilians or draws attention.

Do your part. If you're a provider, don't dress or act like a hooker in sight of others in the public areas where you're staying. Dress casual or businesslike in public areas. Have a good cover story and act the part. Act like you have nothing to hide and say hi to any other guests you encounter.

Help your clients be inconspicuous. Be sure they know how to get in, get to your room, etc. Pick a hotel without a lot of obstacles and prying eyes between the parking lot and your room.

I like to call from the parking lot and stay on the phone until I get to the room. Or at least be talked from the elevator to the room, and then tell the lady I'm at the door and have her open without me having to knock. I hate the thought of knocking on the wrong door. The ladies should also hate the thought of opening the door for the wrong guy. Imagine if you let the guy in and he's just a guy who knocked on the wrong door.

Don't interact with the guy in the public area, or if you do, act businesslike.

Guys, do your part, too. Don't be too obvious. Walk in like you own the place and are doing nothing at all out of the ordinary. Don't walk in obviously carrying flowers and a bottle of cheap wine.

Hell, even you pimps will make it easier on yourself if you don't draw unnecessary attention to yourself.

If we all do our part to be inconspicuous and not cause trouble, things will be better for us all.

THX GG for all this info. I don't really like going into hotels, and some of your tips will take off the additional edge when going in there.
Acting confident and being confident are two things, lol, in this case the acting is what counts !!!

Having read the article, I want a $1M grant from the govt to help move providers from one part of town to another. I figure we can build a pretty nice "provider friendly" incall for that kind of money.
I am thinking a simple 10 bedroom, 6 bath house with pool, hottub, bar, etc..........

when a guy calls me from his car in the parking lot to get my room number,I will give him the layout of the hotel so he does not look "lost"
