Exclamation Seafood Restaurant

Not originally from SA and Im looking for a good old fashion seafood restaurant where everything is fried or broiled. Nothing fancy. Specifically with crawfish, frog legs, alligator, catfish, you know the good stuff. Have had a craving lately for some good ass seafood. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I still go back to Sea Island, http://www.shrimphouse.com/ I think that's the classic seafood in San Antonio, all across town, the original is behind North Star Mall. Love their fried oysters.

Acadiana is good if you are on the west side.

You might want to try River City Seafood and Grill, north side of town, frontage road 1604/Stone Oak.

Bayseas in Converse is wonderful. Not sure if the other locations are owned by the same people though. It is a tiny little thing but the food is really good. They do have every thing your looking for. I always get the catfish w/ shrimp special and add a side of gumbo. The portions are pretty big. I can't say if the frog legs or crawfish are good though but judging from the things I've had, I'm sure they will be. Good luck in your seafood search. =-)

Default Down and Dirty

Try Rudy's fried fish on S. Flores for some deep deep fried fish!

If you just want good ole Fried Fish, M.K. Davis on N. Flores St near five points. Ice cold schooners of beer too!

Agree with Hollywood, bay seas is pretty good. There are a few in s.a. It's more of a "southern" style fried fish place. The one on ww white road has a soul food menu too. Acadiana is pretty good too.

I put the nix on J. Anthonys.

Do NOT go there!

Sea Island is just up the road from them.

Wildfish out on 1604 is the best seafood restaurant in the city, it's probably the priciest, though. The Grill in Leon Springs has amazing seafood, it is French inspired from the folks that had Eltoile. And lastly, The Big Easy on Walzem, Katrina refugees, that go back to New Orleans every 2 weeks to bring back ingredients..is some of the best food in the city..hands down.
