Portable speakers so you can put some music on from your iPod. A big visible clock, both for you and for hobbyist that may only have a limited time to see you.

Sounds like a house warming party is in order Marie, one big party or multiple small more intimate gatherings or both.

All of these are legitimately good ideas. I'm always worried someone might keel over at my incall, and I *am* trained in defibrillation and CPR. If you have duct tape, you have to counter-balance with WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, duct tape it; if it doesn't move and should, WD-40 it. Redneck home repair 101.

Don't know how common this is and I'm not asking to come over, myself, but I can't use 2-1. Conditioners make my skin (scalp + wherever it touches when rinsing off) itchy, and this includes 2-1 shampoos.

Corkscrew for wine. I seriously get fucked by this every time I go to a hotel.

(Not literally.)

Basic bar supplies. Glass glasses for drinks. Stemless wine and martini glasses are great (less prone to breakage). Doesn't need to be high dollar crystal, just mot red solo cups.

Let your hobbyist stock the bar for you.

Thank goodness, otherwise I'd have to send you to a hotline.

You can find almost every kitchen/bar necessity at ACE Restaurant Supply right off I-10... and at a super great price as well!!! I would check Arnies for Candles, they have a huge selection of the big candles.
