The XXXmas event is Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 or so. Normal Vouching closes at 5 pm Sunday, Dec. 16.

About the Little Black Dress for ladies (and as for gents, too, at least "business casual" or classier):

Little black dress (or your choice of holiday-appropriate clothing) is the semi-hemi-demi "official" costume. Or, if necessary, come as one of Santa's "undercover" helpers, meaning civilian clothes or anything else you wanna wear.

Gents in ladies dresses will be auctioned off for charity. Gents in ladies' underwear will be "frisked" by one or both of our fun-loving bartenders. Remember, we have both male and female bar staff! They have been studying the official TSA manual!!!

Please note - in the spirit of the holiday season, if you choose to volunteer to donate an inexpensive toy, make it new and leave it unwrapped. Toys are for children age 3+ collected at the event will be donated to the San Antonio battered women's shelter for children there. We are also collecting some wrapping paper and ribbons, etc, but we also have two stores pledging a quantity. Main accent is on the toys, please.

In the "hobby" spirit, adult "toys" for an adult toy exchange (or auction) is scheduled during the last part of the meet & greet. If you volunteer to bid on an adult toy (toy is for you or your ATF) in the auction, money from this auction will also go to the women's shelter for its needs and those it shelters.

***We may also have an additional "adult raffle" organized by an established provider here and dedicated to a community member in need. Details on this will be explained at the meet & greet or in a later post if possible.***

We chose the women's shelter since many other organizations and groups typically concentrate holiday gifting and holiday giving on the homeless and other worthy organizations. We feel the women's shelter doesn't often benefit during the holiday season. More than a few members here over the years have made and continue to make regular donations to the shelter, both in clothing, personal items, used cell phones and cash. In mid-2013 we will have another very quiet "Xmas in July" effort to support the women and children there.

Meanwhile, all of the invitations to the XXXmas event have been mailed or pm'd. "Plan ahead and save the date" texts go out today. If you feel your invite is missing, check your mail spam filter, and then let me know. There's always a possibility, too, that you were dropped from the active invite list due to lack of attendance or a lapse in current vouching.

Not what I meant. Last time I got her a Crown & Coke. The mistake was that it should have been straight Crown. "Virgin" Crown, meaning without the Coke. I guess now it will be the opposite, a "virgin" Coke.
