I was called a "whore" for the first time since joining the eccie club about a month ago... and I just smiledd. Well... no... I replied a very snappy comeback revolving around being the whore who gets paid or the one who opens her legs for free to a man who keeps her broke.... anyway.... respect being the topic... here's my two cents... the ladies here are all providing a service that is valuable regardless of what critics may say about her. And the men... are here for the ladies.... beyond that... why are personal attacks even an issue??? Respect the foundation and reasons this board and its members exsist...

Save the drama for your hour at the shrink. Or confession. Or anywhere else that is not this board. Where you men come to escape from it!

Unfortunately, as much as we all would like to rid our community, of the bad apples..it's never going to happen. All we can do is screen, research who we meet, and keep eachother informed of those who would try to do us harm.

Ajax, the other tools we can use are...scrutiny and common sense. Just because someone or several people inform you of XYZ...doesn't necessarily make anything the gospel truth. Keep in mind...there are many instigators on both sides of the fence.

Some people just live for gossip! They don't think twice to spread vicious rumors, to justify their their own shortcomings, and draw attention away from their bundle of lies. So, it's important to scrutinize fact from fiction...before we go about placing judgement on anyone.

I've known a few good hobbyists who have had their reputations dragged through the mud...due to some unscrupulous providers. It has happened and still happens. These providers will change their handles year after year thinking no one will remember.

Just remember, some of us have a long history here...some good, some not so good...research can be your friend!

I think that the men you describe have such low self esteem that they have to think there is someone or something lower than they are. This is the basis for a lot of racism and classism. Having said that, it is difficult to have any compassion for them.
