I think a lot about this issue. It is an issue in any service business. A price point of $400 an hour is about right. Try experimenting with a multi hour date that bakes in a discount---such as a dinner date of 5 hours at $1,800. The part of the market you seem to be going after will see that as a deal. And one advantage is that you see fewer people and make more money. Lowering your rate may generate an influx in business but will wear you out not just physically but more importanly mentally as well.

Coed may not be the best forum to post a thread regarding rates. This question may have been better suited in forums in which only the women offer useful criticism.

Customers will always want to pay the least for a product. The reported Black Friday antics is a good example. Customers would view a product at a brick & mortar (retail) store. They then would use their smartphones to find the cheapest price of that same item.
