For those that travel AUS-HOU-SAN
Has anyone tried Megabus? Austin to Houston in 2.5 hours for $10. Luxury buses with wi-fi. I'm fed up with airline travel- long lines, packed planes, security hassles, etc.

Perhaps rental car shuttle could pick me up, I don't know. These kind of services have been going for a while in the Northeast.

I have tried Mega Bus but sorry to say I like Greyhound better. I don't like sitting outside waiting for a bus.

Assuming no jam-ups on the free-way, this seems to be as quick as going by plane to HOU or DFW and a lot cheaper. Plus no one gropes me..

As champagne stated greyhound is much better and also provide wifi as well as a decent movie to keep you busy
