I just heard Clinton on NPR. She was conducting a press conference with Netanyah and said that the US stands firm behind Israel. She also urged Egypt's president Morsi to urge for peace.

When this is over and the Egyptians broker the cease-fire, Clinton will return home and her "boss" will crank up the propoganda machine to re-create her reputation ... who knows "the boss" might even polish his "peace medal" for the occasion....to demonstrate his credentials to annoint her the Woman of the Year ... only second to Ambassador Rice.

I bumped this thread, because I noticed that new ones got started ... apparently some didn't like the way the headlines were going and wanted this one to get buried in the Forum and forgotten. An apparent "habit" of the whining peace-niks.

If one actually reads the attributed quotes in the articles being cited ... one can see that Hamas and the Iranians have no intention of letting up and the ONLY reason they might agree to a cease-fire is to accommodate the re-supply of materiels from Iran (note that Hamas wants any "embargo" to be lifted as part of their agreement to quick lobbing rockets and blowing up buses).

That's kinda what I thought until she brought up the Egyptians. Personally, I'm shocked, but I don't think Obama has any choice since the Benghazi thing is so forefront in the news because he is so starie-eyed over the Arab Spring.

I'm a big fan of Bills. I voted for Hillary. I was disappointed when she took the SOS job. I knew she was just going to be marginalized and kept as a pet which she was.

See, and it should be when WE broker the deal. Obama doesn't want the US to be involved in any interference with Islamic nation. I'm still trying to form a solid thesis on why that is.

Again, I heard on BBC through NPR that the time during the cease fire is going to be used to stem the smuggling of arms to Hamas. We'll see.
