The generous men of KC *ROCK*!!

So today I took the food I had collected for Thanksgiving to Harvester's. I filled up my trunk and almost the entire back seat of my car as well!!

You guys are SO effing awesome! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed! Alot of families in KC will have a happier Thanksgiving this year thanks to your generosity.

But the holidays aren't over yet. I am off to spend a week with family for the holidays but when I return next week, the food drive picks up where it left off, and I will be asking for toys and/or food donations to brighten a child's Christmas.

Everyone please be safe and merry over the holidays and remember how much we all have to be thankful for.

i have been donating to harvesters $5 or $10 everytime my daughter and i go to the store, we also did a hat and glove drive not to long ago as well. this year we have decided to adopt a family from her school... giving back is the best thing someone can do.

Whenever I am out and about and see a fundraiser of some sort I always donate to the cause. Imagine the quizzical looks I get when I sign it "Babes of Wichita" lol

That is so inspiring. Seems like this last year has been challenging for a lot of people it is so amazing to hear about the giving aspect. There is still a softness in peoples hearts keeps me hopeful! YES KC MEN DO ROCK!!!

I grew up in extreme poverty, and many times my family and I were the recipients of gifts and food from charities...and we were always very grateful for it...therefore, I give back what I can so that others can live life a little bit easier, even if only for a moment.
