A very good read, for people that will believe any commentator as long as it meets their point of view. I really don't need any more talking heads from either side telling me why the other side sucks. I know first hand both sides have been terrible for our country and this year's election will not be an exception. Exceptional political leaders died a long time ago, now we get used car salesmen.

Romney may be able to reverse some of the damage Obama has caused, but he won't be able to reverse all of it. Without Republican control of the senate, Romney won't be able to repeal Obamacare. A socialized healthcare system is probably enough to insure our continued downward spiral into a permanent social welfare state with a never ending recession and huge deficits.
If the captain of the Titanic had been replaced with a new captain, right after hitting the iceberg, he would be captain Romney.
PS
Charles Krauthammer is an amazing person. He's been a quadriplegic since his first year at Harvard Medical School. He went on to become a medical doctor and is a board certified psychiatrist as well as a Pulitzer prize winning journalist.

Bush hit the iceberg, Obama took over and has led the effort towards the lifeboats and rescue ships.
Romney wants everybody to row back to the Titanic and resume the cruise!.

Oh, really?
Come on, WTF! We've gone through all this before. I know you're smarter than that.
We've dug an even deeper fiscal hole over the last few years while everything has been papered over and covered up. Has anybody done anything about TBTF or any of the other excesses of the financial system? (Please don't tell us that you really believe Dodd-Frank solves any of our most critical problems.)

Figured that might be the case, since I know how much fun you have jacking with people.
But it's always a hoot to chide you a bit (good-naturedly, of course!) just to see what the response will be!

Yeah Bush certainly hit an iceberg alright. Now we are all in a life boat with Obama. The only problem is the life boat has a hole in it and we have a long way to shore.

In the meantime Obama keeps telling us that the 6" hole is now only 5 7/8".
