Guess being tied up for the weekend was probably a good thing. I was thinking perhaps all of the hot air would have been used up by now, but I am too optimistic.

Respond to ISOs as you see fit. It may help you, it may hurt you. Most of you aren't going to take advice from a guy who hardly hobbies anymore anyway. What the hell would I know. Besides, old farts like me look at the hobby from a whole different perspective than the young studs you are probably marketing to. I can't read or understand the ghetto speak used by some, the Cr@zY TyP|nG $tYLe dR!vE$ me B0nKeR$.

Just remember, everytime you post something on this board, it becomes a virtual historical record of your presence on ECCIE and in the provider world. How it fits into your marketing plan and how you are perceived by others will follow you down that path. Do you raise your perceived worth and drive the market price for your services up, or do you appear to be the Dollar General or Big Lots of Provider World? (I rate Walmart a bit higher than Dollar General or Big Lots.)

You, your handle, are a brand. Not a brand in the cowpoking & rustling style of our Texas heritage, but a brand like Proctor Gamble, Chevrolet, BMW, and the like.Those brands protect their reputation at all cost, because it can make or break them. Sure, you can re-make yourself with a new handle every few weeks, but the research is there to link the two. It is much easier to climb the hill to success one time than ride the roller coaster between success and failure.

I respond to ISO because it is free advertising for the day.
Some guys never get in chat and have a quick minute to get on and say, "Hey, I'm UTR but have a quick minute today to finally play during my lunch at such and such area for such and such type of session.

IF the guy is hardly ever on line, he may not read posted ads or reviews. Hence, why I post on ISO's frequently.

1. It's free advertising for your showcase.
2. Somedays you're not available being that most of us have a REAL life including family and days and times that limit US to provide.
3. We may have had a slower week since there are sooooo many great ladies in Dallas.
4. He may have been wanting to see you a while... and then BOOM! There you are.. and jogs his memory of YOU.
5. It just makes since.... if you're able... that's what that forum is for.

I posted an ISO last week. Got 5 responses. 3 from girls who didn't fit what I posted that I was looking for, 1 whos schedule and mine wouldn't mesh, and one who was priced above my limit. The bottom line is that only 2 of the 5 should have responded to begin with.

I skipped a bunch of this, but the ISO's could DO WITHOUT any, possibly well intentioned but nonetheless unwelcome, pimping and or brown nosing of faves/ATFs by guys. If one were looking for guy input, one might go to the lounge and inquire. IJS...
