Buffoonish Villain
(CNN) -- Venezuela's authoritarian president Hugo Chavez is a villain out of a Batman movie: buffoonish and sinister in equal measure.
Sunday's vote result powerfully exposes both sides of his clown-prince system of rule.

TAE, the last time I checked Saudi Arabia was considered part of the Middle East. About 8% of our imports come from Venezuela versus approx. 14% from Saudi. Also, considering the capacity of the refineries on the Texas Gulf Coast is roughly 3.5 million bbl/day, it's rather unlikely that most of them only process the Venezuela crude (about 1 million bbl/day). |
