Not sure if it cost the statemore for suicide and execution....or if life in. Prison is cheaper.

I did research and found out it cost the stated significantly more to execute a criminal bthan to give them life in prison. So this may contribute to how rare offenders are executed. I think bmost of the tally builds upon the court cases, appeals, and other means of why execution cost more.

Costs are significantly lower if they never make it into custody too! The costs escalate due to all the BS appeals and years sitting around going through the process.
