The use of Signal itself was against DOD policy for that type of information. He is also responsible for verifying who he is communicating with when he communicates.

You're also forgetting about his separate chat with his wife and over a dozen others. He was sloppy and reckless. He remains sloppy and reckless.

While he has authority to declassify info, there has not been any evidence produced that he declassified that info before he put it on Signal, but we do know that it was taken from a classified doc.

Face the facts... he fucked up and is shirking accountability while it's one of his top priorities he's trying to push on others.
