The fine line between a Pimp and a Hobbyist

First, I want to make clear I am simply pointing out that we (our community) can often be very hypocritical in regards to Pimps.

I had an agency in Austin some years back and I have been called a PImp.

GFX is called a Pimp because he profits from a hooker.

My question is this... Would anyone consider this pimping?

I see a Review where hobbyists are promoting a $100 per hour rate and taking advantage of a Very Young girl that is naive to the fact that she is getting half of what these hobbyist KNOW wuld be a fair rate.

Then she is told to offer $40 discounts for Reciews, and she agrees.....

When will we as a community start protecting these ladies?

We are quick to judge an agency, but we give a hobbyist praise if he finds a dumb young girl to take advantage of.

Does anyone realize the danger this Reciew can cause this girl?

Personally, I think this girl would be a lot better off with GFX than at a motel on Rittiman depending on the advise of a hobbyist that would market her at $100 per hr or less.

I took the liberty of contacting this young lady and letting her know what her options are.

Some of the best times I've had were with some girls who only spoke Spanish (I know a little but am not conversant). Another monger would do all the set up and communication. They gave him $20 for each appointment - no appointment was less than the $200/hr rate. He finally had to quit because the time investment was costing him way more than the returns - he is a successful professional in RL. I sorely miss what he added to the limited selection in S Texas!

There are other guys, like myself, that have UTRs that they help get appointments without anything coming back. We do it to benefit the selection pool.

The title of your post is correct - there is a fine line between the two. I have met some ladies that I have encouraged to join our group (mostly for their own safety) and have vouched for a couple of others to help them get their VP status, but that's where I draw the line. As to those hobbyists who cross the line to include getting a cut of the girl's business I can only say this - Karma's a bitch.

A guy isn't going to know what a woman's body can or should be able to take. Men are all about #'s, they're more inclined to getting the girl to push out as many clients a day as they can without caring about how they're bodies are going to end up when they finally turn 30 years old. But a woman would be more inclined toward being compassionate and getting the young girl to be low volume.

Yeah its pimping. I've met a lot of pimps, the youngest one was about 8, and he approached me on the street and asked me if I wanted to do his sister.

Now this "one in the post" is sort of soft pimping if there is gray rather than black and white, he is looking for compensation, in either discounts, freebie, it don't mater if you get paid in Green or Pink its pimping, because you are soliciting on behalf of the provider.

But that said it is about free will aka choice, the lady apparently encouraged this behavior, and her mail box filled up so he did a good job.

Gentlemen, I have no problem with someone making a profit from a lady if he is actualty providing her with a service to help her. I know first hand the headaches that come with helping a lady in ths business.

Honestly, I believe the Reviewer had good intentions when he wrote the review. I think he thought he was helping her to make money, and at the same time being a HERO to his fellow hobbyists.
I did a search and Samus (the reviewer) is a young man. Few month ago he started a thread wondering why he was having problems booking with ladies on eccie......
Well, I think this Review is the best answer to his question. Unfortunately, most young men look for the best bang for their buck. They do not see a provider as a woman, they see her as a body they can get pleasure from. They see a body with the ability to make money in a way a man cannot.
This is normal thought for a young man, I am not angry at him for not knowing any better. I do hope he is reading this and maybe will learn a thing or two....

Colt, I cannot speak for Moko, I recently heard of this and do not know enough to comment. Backpage is dangerous because it is a lot more difficult to screen; both for the lady and the gentleman.

A Review such as this, is FAR MORE DANGEROUS. This review has explicit details to her services. Maybe I am dumb, but to me it seems common sense that for a man with the intentions of hurting an escort, this review advertises an easy target.

The Reviewr welcoms PMs to give out any info you might want, he also states in a reply that she will offer a discount and the sesion is almost "FREE" in exchange for a Review.

If you check my reviews, you can see that I saw this young lady.
And as I titled the review, I did a *personal* experiment.
I don't know what your minimum donation is to consider a session to be above board. But I agreed to what she stated. No haggling. I never haggle.

She is young. Not hobby smart. And not staying around for it.
I tried to give her some advice on some things I knew would cause her problems but she did not seem interested in what I was saying so I left it at that.
