My big girl panties are on... deep breath... apology extended....
Those who actively participate in forum discussion have no doubt gathered that I am very outspoken and can be abrasive and quick with the tounge. While this aspect of my personality makes me who I am and will never dissipate... I am mature enough to recognize when I take it too far.
Without going into specifics... I recenttly stirred up some trouble after my ego was bruised and and my foolish pride allowed me to lash out without stopping to think. I believe growth as a human being is impossible without accepting responsibility for and admitting to your own mistakes. I was wrong. I apologize to anyone affected by my outburst . I am genuinely sorry. I have added this experience to my mental file and will use it as a means to improve my attitude and reactions in the future.
I admit I can be a bit rough around the edges sometimes. I have been a bartender in this town for many years so I have had to be that way to deal with drunken idiocy. I am not excusing my behaivor though. I overreacted and started up a "shitstorm." I sincerely apologize. Thank you for your time.
P.s.... mister mod in black.. I personally apologize for the attitude I copped on you via pm. You didn't deserve that and I. Feel like the world's biggest asshat for it. Please forgive me!!!

I don't know what the original "shit storm" was about, but this is beautifully written. Had I been one of the originally offended I would now be putty in your hands.

I don't know you yet Ginger, but I was really turned off by your "outspokenness", and was reminded of a certain provider who was famous for that. Thank you for your explanation and apology, I have great respect for someone who can see their error and apologize.

Those of us who really know you would not care about the "outburst" but I could see how others might not see it that way. Life is about learning right? Nobody is perfect and we all have faults. Shit, I have MANY. Brush it off and continue being your fabulous self. Btw, I like your panties .

A bad attitude makes anyone ugly!! Kudos for accepting fault and/or wanting/trying to make it right......we all make mistakes and say things we shouldn't from time to time(:

Ginger...takes courage and humility to apologize for what you felt was an error. Many people NEVER accept responsibility for an ourburst or for slandering someone!
Those who would put you to the side...for simply being yourself...may have done you a favor in the long run! Who needs judgemental people anyway...as if they have NO FAULTS! (lol)
I really don't see it as having a bad attitude...just because you were caught up in a moment...you were simply being honest about your feelings. Too many people HIDE behind their true feelings...gossip about peope behind their backs, and are quick to judge...when they have many flaws and never own up!
We were all once new to the hobby...as long as we keep learning...it's all good!!!

Experience knowing how to "deal with drunken idiocy" could still come in handy in your current occupation...
Self-assessment, in moderation, can be a good thing. May it serve you well.

Well said Ms. Lovelace,
I respect the way you handle yourself.
Perhaps you were living up to your "FIRECRACKER" nickname status which is just above your avatar.
We are all human and we continue to live and learn...

Thank you everyone!
It was VERY difficult to find the courage to post this. Admission of wrongful action in such a public environment is SCARY. The HARDEST part, however, was taking my OWN inventory. Thats ALWAYS the hardest part. The end result is that justification and blaming others HINDERS me from prospering mentally and emotionally... in ALL aspects of my life.
