So, I wanted to chime in about all the "pimpin'" statements. Of course, there is the dictionary definition..................pa sted below.

Though its probably fact for the majority of folks who run a service, Im finding myself taking some offense to the attached preconceived notions. I personally do not own one fur jacket, nor a single feathered hat! I dont drive a cadillac, nor a lincoln and have never tried to make someone do something they did not want to. Its well known ( or at least i hope it is) that i do not hire anyone with "issues", ranging from drug use to mental instability. Not everyone is suited to this profession and I have not hired someone on more than one occasion because I thought the business would do them more harm than good.

Any woman or man in this profession needs to have an incredibly strong sense of themselve's, and where they are going. I have seen too many flame and burn, i'm sure that im not alone in that statement. Believe it or not, I have seen very many blossom and mature because of this business also.

I run a business. Bottom line. Like any business, I must have a good product and not devalue it. It must be delivered on time and perform as described. (we're talking about people here, so please don't confuse the abject nature of my description). Of course there is competition, therefore we must always maintain our reputation and value our customers, as they are our business.

That being said, I would like to hear the difference's and opinions from our members. I am not looking for kudo's or slaps on the back. I seriously believe that there is a huge difference between a "pimp" and a genuine service.

I personally dont care eigher way, if you took offense to my reference of "pimp" it was in the context of that OP in the other thread.I wasnt thinking i had to be sympathetic with my terminology, just streamlining a point I guess.Im not sure I was meaning offense but at the same time didnt think i had to sugar coat things,,,,geesh,, I really do piss off everyone here...damn

I do not like pimps or agency's. pimps are similar from one to the next. I have only met a few pimp that run more like a ok agency. Agency's run from great to well pimp. That may be why I lump them together. But I find now that now that ee is not on the board that I was wrong to do so. I do think if a agency is on the board, they can not be both provider and hobbyist. But that is not up to me.

your agency seems ok to me. But as I do not use agency's from things that have gone down for me in the past with them. You may be a great agency, and I will never know. I know that's not fair to you. sorry about that. But after a few standoffs. I kinda keep away from all.

I hope you keep looking ok to deal with. And you are doing well in the biz. Even if a few like me will probably never call.

haa, Jon, i was not referencing any one post or person! it was more of a thought. And meant to be thought provoking, sometimes its nice to step back and take a look at your self and who you are dealing with!

that's why i started this thread, to promote a little self reflection and maybe some meaningful convo. Hope that clarifies a little bit.

If services are pimps and you don't care what you say then why are you not calling yourselves the johns and tricks that you are..??? Furthermore why don't you ever call the ladies hoes hookers or prostitutes of which they clearly are?? The former is because you can't cal yourself what you really are because otherwise you couldn't sleep well at bight, and as for the latter you have your nose so squarely shoved up the ass of anything with a pussy that you don't have the balls to say the truth there..
