Why Don't Providers Answer Their Phones?

I am sure I am not the first person to notice or post that the vast majority of providers do not answer their phones.

Last night I was in some one horse town in Louisiana with a client and we decided to add another girl to the mix, so we hopped online and checked here, P411, and BP. There were about 20 girls and we called them all. Not one answered the phone.

I have had the same experience in Dallas. Is this what it is like to be a client? Calling girl after girl until you get to the point were you will see anyone that answers? YIKES!! I have found myself in several situations where my client has a friend that would like to see a girl, I always try but it is rare that a provider actually shows.

I want to know why this is. Personally, I am happy when my phone rings, its always near me, and I am rarely too busy to answer. If I do miss a call, I return it. I did not post my photos on this site and a bunch of others to entertain myself. This is my job, my business, and I am here to make money.

It is hard to deal with the stigma and legality of being an escort. Why out yourself through that if you do not care to make money at it? I have known many girls and none of them have been in a position to turn down money. Yet girls look for reasons not to go on calls. They make it extremely difficult for guys to make appointments and then don't show up for them.

I guess I should be happy about this. I certainly am happy to get the money another girl blows off. The thing is, I take pride in being an escort and another girl's bad business practices effects how clients view me. Who knows how many guys have wanted to call me but don't because they have been discouraged by bad experiences?

Ladies, these guys are calling to offer you a pretty good chunk of change. If you don't like doing calls or are scared too, remove your profile. Make it easier for clients to find girls that are serious about their business.

It's the same for pretty much any independent contracting industry. The ratios may be different, but the same dynamic exists.

Try finding a reliable handyman. And the real estate industry is rife with folks who don't respond to phone calls or emails.

It's not universal, thank goodness, but if you find someone reliable, make sure they feel appreciated.

Isn't there an acronym for what you're talking about in the industry? TCB, or taking care of business? It's a big reason why a site like Eccie is so important. It's not just to punish providers who don't do what they say they're going to do. It's to reward providers who have great follow up.

I don't answer my phone. I prefer email and then possible a text message.
I never know if a wife or girlfriend has found my number. Guys can be careless and women snoop through their phone logs.

I also don't do appointments on the spot and require plenty of notice, so I'm not missing much.

Also, when I'm not working this job, I'm either working at my "real life" job, with my kids, or in a social situation that I don't feel comfortable talking to a client in front of.

Therefore, if you must call, leave a message. I will often excuse myself and call you back in a private setting.

But, I really would rather just get emails with all the info I require up front.

A lot of it has to do with maturity level of providers. Some are barely out of there teens, still want to be with there friends, likes to party, has BF and really don't know if they want to do this. Then you have some, they make what they need and don't worry about making extra. Usually 1st of the month or end of month, ladies are scrabbling around to make bills, so they usually will answer there phone.

Morgan is always calling the providers out in all her threads... hmm... wondering if she is.... lol no harm just a joke! but A lot of us have a lot going on and that is why there are some girls who only take prebooks, only see so many per day and some who are just really busy! I personally do have hours of operation and try to stick to those as much as possible, even though my hours of operations are rarely honored.... hence the 3 am 6am annoying phone calls

Like any normal human being, People cannot be oncall 24/7 7 days a weeks, thats impossible but if you do place an ad for that day you should honor it, even when you are already booked.... business is business

I know with me, I'm busy, the guy will call nine times in a row no message....you never know who is calling you..... (When its after hours???)

It's not a being mean thing, but most people don't bother to look at a providers hours...(at least the guys calling me don't bother???) And decide that it they keep calling she will answer... When my hours are done or someone is calling on a off day I won't answer the phone because a system turns it off for me and turns it back on when i'm actually available.

Most of us that will verify a client with harder conditions, So short notice appointments are not doable.. Short notice for me is less than a day or two....

But low volume is maybe 4-6 appointments a month if that... for me...

If the client knows me then, they are aware they have to book a few days in advance or shoot an email to see if i'm available first.... after hours they know to leave a message and i'll get back to them when I get a free time to return calls and such......

Most likely because they don't care to answer it until the rent is due. Many providers operate this way. Have you tried email? I always return reference requests in a matter of hours, not days, but I am also on the net 24/7 lol.

I can tell you if I get mail me before 10 a.m. or after 10 p.m. you won't get a response. Most women do not do "last minute" appts. after midnight, either...well, my friends certainly don't.

Also consider that many women are very high volume, so they know if they miss appts. one day, the next day they can see 3 guys lol. When you only get 1-2 appts. per week, you generally jump on them.

Its actually really that some ladies aren't always on top of there game or about their business as they should be. I understand if they are busy but I have known ladies to just ignore their phone for whatever pointless reason and I just don't understand it especially if this is your all around life but I guess it depends. Nice to know some ladies are on their job so to speak!

This^^^^ Phone contact never worked for me I eventually became email only unless previously acquainted. Nothing worse than the 2-3-4 am calls when you have specific hours listed.
Secondly answering a hobby phone in public and being asked services or rates (when clearly listed)... .....or co workers, family and friends around was a no for me. Nope won't be talking about services or other inappropriate things in front of people. Some seriously awkward and indirect conversation that was not fair for either party.

Imo if you are going to post a contact number you should at very least return the calls in a timely manner if possible.

Back in the day, a phone was the only way to communicate. Now with text, e-mail, PMs and social media, the telephone is just one other way to communicate. Actually, I don't get pissed if a girl won't answer her phone. I assume she won't. I am perfectly okay with leaving a message. I only get pissed when my message is not returned in a timely manner i.e. within an hour or so. To be honest, I actually make first contact with a lady via e-mail, PM or text. Lately, I've set up entire appointments with never talking on the phone-- this can be that convenient. I can see where a provider uses her phone to screen calls and messages. It just makes sense. I think the broader point is not if a provider answers/doesn't answer her phone. The point is the effort of a provider to get back in touch with a potential client who has requested her services. If a provider is not timely, it is a possible sign of trouble to come.

Agreed. I don't provide a number until a date is set, a gent is verified, and it is ONLY to be used for the location. I actually removed text message capability in the past, because of so much bs.

yes I agree...some of us have another life. It seems when I do answer my phone...it's someone wanting NOW. I can't do it. Screening takes time. I want to know with whom is requesting my company.
