Second indicator is location of client....is he in $30 a night rat hole or in a $200+ a night hotel. Doubtful a jerk would fork over cash to pay for lavish digs when he plans on hassling a lady. There are rich jerks…..but it’s my belief that persons who stay at nice places don’t plan on making a scene.

You would think so, however, I would NEVER make an assumption like this. Jerks and rapists come in all sizes, ethnic groups, intelligence and income levels. There are many risks in this hobby...LE is just one...and if I had to choose, I'd much rather come across LE than a rapist. This is the main reason for getting information "about" the person from another "reputable" provider.
Just as a reminder...Phillip Markoff was a 22year Boston University Med Student who attacked and robbed two women and killed a 26 year old woman. The first attack was at a Boston Westin...another was at a Marriott and the other at a Holiday Inn. Who would have ever thought that a young, intelligent, well educated, caucasian man would assault, rob and kill?
Never take anything for granted...and never assume anything! Screen well...but always to your own comfort level.
