My Place !!! as in Arboretum / Domain area which is NW Austin (Roads: 360/183/1=Mopac).

Plenty of hotels in all categories and pretty safe.
... and there is shopping to leave the $$$ here in the local economy :-)

I would recommend either the Arboretum area (183 (Research) & 360 (Capital of Texas)) or the Domain area (Loop1 (mopac) and 360 (Capital of Texas)).

Some traveling ladies stay in the I35 & 290 area, there a couple decent hotels there but some of them are kinda sketchy.

Downtown has some nice Hotels but can be a hassle as far as parking and traffic.

Really with your looks stay there and enjoy shopping dining and a nice hotel with amenities all within walking distance. They will come to you and its easy parking and location plenty of money in that area the 290/35 corridor is a clusterfuck. Let me know if you need a tour guide my office is close and I love to entertain. Welcome.

Oh wow! Welcome to Austin Miss South American Beauty. I agree with others...NW Austin area. Just not too far north, in other words -- stay out of Williamson County.
