not sure if this has been discussed but was wondering...does anyone else like to haggle? Is it o.k. to haggle? I like the chase....the discussions....is it just me or are there others?

Well, say you get her to knock 10% of the "donation". I imagine she would probably give you about 90% of her best effort.
I don't ever haggle, I think that's an insult to the lady.

I think it's vulgar to quibble on price. Many providers run specials from time to time. Just keep an eye out for those instead of haggling.

I agree... I know that I won't negotiate my donations... and general rule of mine.. if they ask I feel disrespected and probably will go into the "do not answer" call list.

Seems like two different things to me, haggling and this "thrill of the hunt". What does that even mean? If she knocks ten percent off you think she likes you? That you've somehow accomplished something?

I think I am with the rest of ladies.. we take it as an insult if someone haggles. But in the same breath I can understand the economy and issues with SO's watching the cash, where it is needed to get someone that will work with ya. There is a fine line when it comes to this... and haggling tactfully. my suggestions is research and see if there are providers that have a history or actually advertise specials and/or "just as for rate" thing. this is my opinion only... I work with people as long as they are respectful. but that is me.

Seriously. If you don't like the price, go elsewhere. I see some providers who I don't feel (IMHO) are worth the $+/- but I'd never tell them. I think your thinking street tactics. We got classy ladies here.
