LOL verification- Insane and scary!!
Do you guys really provide all these to get validated? This is just mind-boggling & insanity to me and not to mention scary in the present day and age of data breaches.
Sample of what LOL asks for, prior to booking:
-----------
Please provide ALL the info what we require.
1) Send me a close up picture of Work ID(with your photo) or LinkedIn link, Business card. If you have corporation card can skip work ID or business card.
2) Driver's license (can cover DL number & address), Credit card or coporation card (also cover card number) should match your ID name and card name.
3)Send a test email from your Business email
4) Send a selfie with driver's license held next to your face.

Yes. They have lots of clients. LoL has been in business in austin for a long time.
Every 2 months or more often I see someone complain about this stuff. I don't think people understand how verification works with reputable agencies in this day and age.

It may seem scary, but I've never heard of a k-org leak client info, or use it for any bad reason etc. So you just need to get past it

Maybe not leaked, but they can sure be busted. I doubt seriously they just delete any info you send for verification. No clients have been arrested yet, but everyone should move according to their own risk tolerance, right?

Investigators said ring leader Han Lee kept detailed records, which could be her undoing. They said Lee concealed $1 million in cash through various money transfers to hide the prostitution ring she was running out of Cambridge, Watertown, Dedham, and the Washington, D.C suburbs in Virginia.

Not really sure how many of these replies that justify these verification asks are from those owning such businesses. If you are providing these details, you seriously have to question what else is left to make this discrete.
Once you give up your identity online, it simply sticks. I brought up this topic as in my experience Houston and Dallas studios don't bother asking details to these levels but Austin does. Unless customers complain.. businesses will demand whatever desire.
Anyway.. good luck to those who opt for LOL. Just pray they don't get busted and are careful enough to delete all your records. Happy hobbying.

I am now in the DC area. After the bust. Things were calm for 4-6 weeks but all the same Asian groups came back but with different websites and names (at least half a dozen specializing in Korean and Japanese mostly but sometimes sprinkled with occasional Chinese). They all ask for the same super intrusive verification info. It’s just the standard across these organizations that are loosely connected across the US. I wish it wasn’t that way but it is what it is.

Thank you for letting other girls know about what has become a standard in verifying guys before even starting a conversation with them!
All this information requested is to hold you accountable in-case you will harm provider in anyway. Yes. Physical assaults, beating, rape, poisoning , donation theft, robbery, etc.. do happen here very often. Times when Jon shows up to our door, just after an "available?" message are long gone. Check the topics discussed here about the changes in Law in the last 2 years.
How else will you prove that you are not LE? Because none of us want to go to jail for your few hundred bucks.
Also,
Please note, that you can be also charged, if you solicit and by pure chance will contact a new provider/agency without knowing who they are, where they are, who verified them and other details about them.
Be safe. You watch out for your safety and we will watch out for our own safety and do whatever is necessary to keep you and our-self safe.

Here are basics for screening information that you can provide after first initial contact when you say: Hi, I am Jon, I want to check if this is proper recipient, if so, I will send my information with next email, because I want to schedule a visit with you soon.
When, where and for how long you want to meet. What service. Don't be explicit in demands.
Name, race, weight, height, health problems, skin condition, phone number, email, selfie, selfie with ID, Links to vouched active and local providers who you have seen in the last 6 month, say exactly when you saw them, because we will check everything out. LinkedIn, Facebook, business cards - everything can be used.
If you are not willing to provide that information, ask her, maybe she will substitute something for something else.
Make her comfortable and she will return the favor. Maybe.
Good luck.
