Default Remember this when you post lies, the Tea Party is not the GOP

http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/mcc...il_uid=5624174

Monumental rhino John McCain has declared war on the Tea Party in Arizona. You don't do that to your friends or your allies. So when you want to cast insults about what the GOP is doing, remember, you're talking about the GOP and not the Tea Party.

While we're on the subject, the media is trying to convince the country that Jeb Bush is the GOP candidate for 2016. That is only THEIR opinion and not shared by most of the country. So when you start, and you will, remember this is the media talking Bush up and the GOP who is the interested party.

The Tea Party has not decided yet but we love that fact that we have choices unlike the democrats.

We'll talk about candidates in the coming year even if it is a year early.

Rhino? LMAO!

What does that stand for: Republican Handjob In Nee Orleans?

God DAMN you're a jerkoff, JDIdiot.

If the Tea Party isn't the GOP, then why doesn't it declare its independence and take its chances?

No balls or brains. Just bluster.

Judy is celebrating early. Have you guys seen any democratic, independent or libertarian tea party members? Or do they all run in republican primaries.

Until I see them running on a Tea Party line on the ballot they are what they are, a splinter group of the Republican party. I would like to see them run on their own with their own platform, etc. I'd be curious to see how they do without all the mindless Reps who cote straight party line without even reading the names.

Over the course of the past 6 years, the Tea Idiot's and the Republican Party have been sleeping in the same bed. Oftentimes with a partition in between, but the same bed nonetheless!

I would love to see them split. If for no other reason than to see how successful the Tea Idiot's would be on their own. I suspect the results would be disastrous for both the Tea Idiot's and the Republican Party.

I believe they should roll the dice and let the chips fall where they may! Survival of the fittest, if you will!

The Tea Party should have never allowed themselves to co-opted by the Republicans.

The tea party was created by "them" to create a Pro wrestling fan club-style safe have. for ignorant Americans who couldn't understand why their lives were so frustrating.

It worked. Please produce a tea party "scholar" who can hold his own against a legitimate political scientist. (Oxymorons nonwithstanding.)

I do not believe they are intellectually capable of creating a legitimate political party, which is, in my opinion, why they continue to plunder the GOP. They just don't have the brain power beyond "their" level. Reading the lies, blather and hysteria promulgated by their followers and even their pandering politicians (Cruz, et al), they don't have the brain power to find their way through a WalMart.

It would be suicide for them to form their own party, and it would hurt the surprisingly resurgent Republicans as well.
Along those lines, I would like to see the various constituent groups of the Democrats form their own party, just to check the thesis.

I could see several parties break off from the Democrats:

1. The Gay and Lesbian and Transgender Party (of course, if the Lesbians had their own party, I could be persuaded to go to it!)
2. The African-American Party
3. The Latino Party
4. The Feminist Party
5. The Affirmative Action Party
6. The Kill The Cops Party

I'm sure the Koch Brothers would, in the spirit of increased diversity in American politics, help fund such mainstream parties to allow them to seek their destiny.

(As always old friend, nothing personal!)

Well, the democratic party is not one party per se. It is composed, as JL wrote, of several interest groups that collude to advance their agendas. Problems arise with two different groups have two opposing view points. Black people and Hispanic people are not especially happy with the gay rights crowd but they subordinate themselves to the gay mafia. Which brings me to this;

The democratic party has lain down with the socialist and communist parties in this country for so long that their worn out assholes can't even produce a good fart when they pass gas.

I agree with you, it would do no good for the TP to split from the Republicans now--or maybe ever. Just as those other subsets of the Dems could not e ist on their own. You and I are really arguing the same side on this one.

My point was directed to the OP, and the comment the Tea Party col at not Republicans. Of course they are. Ever since the beginning of parties in the US they have really been coalitions of people with some beliefs in common, not lock-step single issue monoliths. It isn't a perfect political system but it is what we have evolved to. In essence it is not as different from the multi-party countries such as Italy, only in our case we have "built" the coalition of groups prior to the elections rather than trying to form coalition governments after an election.
