Just though of one or two others over on North Beach by the Lex.

One would argue tourist traps, but their food is on-par with the rest of the places in town.

I think almost all the sea food in CC is fried. The only place I could really find was Joe's but we have those everywhere.

Wish I could remember the name of the one I went to on North Beach, they had a blackened redfish that was pretty tasty.

I really miss getting fresh sea trout, drum and redfish.

May have to make my once a year trip down.

The only trout and redfish you can get is farm raised. Drum, Shark or Flounder are your best bets for fresh fish in Corpus. If a restaraunt makes the effort, they can get fresh snapper certain times of the year too. Other than that, the rest of the fish like mahi mahi, amberjack etc. is all frozen and brought in.

I love water street it is so versatile it can be casual and it can be dressy I love sitting at the bar because I love attention from the staff, when you sit at a table it seems like the wait staff doesn't get me all the attention I like , but I also love to flirt and I always get extra drinks.The bartenders are very nice and if you need anything you do not have to wait they are right there!!.Sorry for going on ,but I love water street,Joe's Crab Shack on the t heads is GREAT PLACE,THE SCENERY IS BEAUTIFUL IT HAS 3 FLOORS AND A WONDERFUL ROMANTIC VIEW.I do love the staff there also but it better to be at a table, they are so sweet.Anyway those are my 2 favorite places.If you like oysters and a nice smaller places, I also love Diamond Oyster Bar,its an older place but great food!
