I've never been to Red Lobster... Granted, I grew up in a place where seafood was more readily available.

It's acceptable if one lives in an area where you don't have better options. But if one does live in such an area, maybe one should consider moving.

Cheers,

Pints & Pies in NWA is one of my all time favorite places to eat! When I cook (which isn’t often. I’m a beginner and mostly use Pinterest) I enjoy Mexican food.

It’s not the best seafood but it will do in a pinch. And their cheddar biscuits are great!

I, too love Mexican food! Not sure what Mexican restaurants NWA has to offer, but I know LR has a ton to choose from. A couple hole in the wall type places serve the best authentic Mexican I’ve had in this state. Could never go wrong with señor tequila though!

Their cheddar biscuits are life! I can seriously go there and eat their biscuits all day without ordering anything else on their menu.

Got a batch of kimchee going over the weekend, and so far it's coming along nicely! I let it ferment, covered, on my kitchen counter for a couple days, and transferred it jars this evening. I'll let them ferment for a couple more days, then dig in!

Seafood stuffed salmon on the smoker! One of my favorite impromptu dinners.

Trying my hand at canning this weekend... If you hear the sound of shattering glass and screaming, you'll know how it turned out!

What are you canning exactly? I’m intrigued. I’ve never canned anything.

I've got a recipe for spicy pickled green beans that I've been wanting to try. My first time canning; it should be a fun learning experience!
